What started as a vision for intentional, culturally rooted storytelling has grown into a creative house where purpose meets production.
Meet the Founders

Franchesca Davis is a dynamic, multi-hyphenate creative with a rich background in both scripted and unscripted storytelling. A Kansas City native with roots in the theater and a sharp eye for story development, she brings depth, nuance, and purpose to every frame she touches. Her career spans stage, television, and film with standout appearances including a featured role on the hit true-crime docuseries Snapped on the Oxygen channel.
Trained in performance and grounded in emotional truth, Franchesca honed her voice in New York City, where she worked across sketch comedy, drama, and indie film. Her award-winning screenplay Tsunami was officially selected by the Kansas City International Film Festival and Queens Underground Film Festival, praised for its lyrical writing, vulnerability, and visual precision.
In 2023, she co-founded Cre8, a creative production company focused on bold, character-driven storytelling. As Head of Operations, Franchesca leads with vision and execution, overseeing everything from pitch development and client deliverables to casting, narrative structure, and script supervision.
Her expertise lies in building emotionally grounded worlds, developing complex characters, and capturing Black women’s interiority in ways that challenge, affirm, and resonate. With experience both in front of and behind the camera, she’s known for her intuitive direction, collaborative energy, and commitment to making stories that matter.
Whether she’s directing a politically-charged short film, writing a prestige drama pilot, or managing production workflows with clarity and grace, Franchesca brings a rare combination of creativity, professionalism, and soul to every room she enters.

Marvin, a native of Dallas, Texas, is the operations lead and co-architect of Cre8’s vision. As an actor, Marvin is one who delivers an authentic, grounded and purposeful performance in all of his work. From his impactful words that hold weight in delivery to his stillness from being in the moment of any scene, there’s an optimistic curiosity on what’s to come next with his work. He has been on various sets in the LA, Atlanta, Southwest and Southeast markets working on several commercial, film and television projects which includes a key role he performed in on the long tenured true-crime television series Fatal Attraction. His experiences in multiple film markets allow him to have a well blended understanding of attracting the viewer’s attention and retaining emotional reception from the audience with his work.
